A French Walnut Armchair
Early 19th Century and Later
Height 44 x width 25 inches.
This lot is located in Chicago.
Condition
Seat height 19 inches. Parts of the chair date to the 19th century (the legs, the carved hand holds) but the chair has probably been re-configured or re-built using earlier elements in the 20th century. it is very sturdy and can be sat upon. The upholstery is clean and intact. The wood has typical scratches and minor disoclorations from use, moving and wear; the hand holds show slightly more fading and rubbing.
